Join us at Egger’s Grove for an evening of bat monitoring! Listen for bat calls and learn all about these fascinating creatures!

Come join us at Egger’s Grove for an evening of bat monitoring, exploration, and fun! Take part in a guided bat walk through the woods, or stop by to chat with the folks from Lincoln Park Zoo, who will be there to answer all your bat-related questions.

During the walk, we’ll use special equipment to listen to the sounds bats make as they use echolocation. Experience the hidden world of bats in a whole new way!

Please come prepared for a moderate nighttime walk on a wooded, unpaved trail. Dress appropriately for the weather and wear comfortable, sturdy shoes.
