Join Friends of the Forest Preserves and the Peace School for a one-hour yoga class next to the Thatcher Woods Pavilion in River Forest. Whether you’re an expert or a beginner, experience the forest preserves from a whole new angle. Lydia Howe, an instructor for over 20 years, will be leading the class. The Peace School is celebrating the International Day of Peace that week. So bring your own yoga mat for a fun, peaceful afternoon in the forest preserves. Friends will provide water to keep you hydrated.
