Join Friends of the Forest Preserves and REI Outdoor School for a guided hike to one of Chicago’s natural gems. While hiking we’ll teach you about the 10 essentials of backcountry travel and introduce you to the 7 Leave no Trace principles. Friends of the Forest Preserves will share the history and ecology that drives their mission to protect, restore and expand forest preserves in Cook County.
