Volunteer Workday and String Art at Whistler Woods
Come volunteer at Whistler Woods in Riverdale and work on some string art by the fire! Enjoy snacks and refreshments while you work.
Volunteer with us by cutting and burning woody invasive trees. We will be showing you which trees to cut and how to identify them. We will discuss why the work you will be doing is so important. Everything that gets cut will also be burned on a fire, which will help keep us warm while we enjoy our snacks and refreshments.
After getting some work in, we will gather around the fire to work on a Cardinal bird string art project. This will be for you to take home.
