Meet your volunteer guide: Joshua has been visiting Cook County Forest Preserves since a child. He has worked outdoors on several conservation crews and is very enthusiastic about nature. Some of his favorite sites are in the Calumet region including Whistler Woods, Kickapoo Woods, and Sandridge Nature Center. He has a passion for connecting people to nature and their local trails.
What to bring/wear: Water, sunglasses, weather-appropriate clothing (layers are highly recommended), and hiking boots/comfortable shoes.
