Spring Wildflower Hike through Palos
Join Friends of the Forest Preserves for a 3 hour hike through the Palos preserve, the largest forest preserve in Cook County! Learn how to identify spring wildflowers, and get the 411 on habitat restoration and how you can volunteer and give back to your community. Water and snacks are included for free!
Friends will meet you at the Teason’s Woods parking lot, part of the Sag Valley Trail System at 10 am on Saturday, May 2. We will hike half of the Yellow Trail Loop for a total of approximately 3.5 miles. We will proceed counterclockwise past Horsetail Lake and Swallow Cliff Woods before returning to Teason’s Woods.
