Mini Bird Walk at Kickapoo Woods in Riverdale
Ready to get back outside? We sure are! Please join the Friends community for one of our “mini” bird walks at Kickapoo Woods Forest Preserve in Riverdale, led by the Chicago Audubon Society. Considering the weather, this bird walk will only be an hour and a half rather than the usual three hours, hence “mini.” We will provide binoculars, which will be disinfected before and after use. Be sure to dress according to the weather (think warm layers, gloves, hats, and scarves). We plan to stay on paved trails and not go off into dirt trails. But, just in case, be sure to wear sturdy, closed-toe shoes that you don’t mind getting a little dirty. Come see what we find!
