Kickapoo Woods Volunteer Workday
Help us remove woody invasive species that deplete the health of the soil, prevent native plants from thriving, and severely affect the health of the ecosystem they invade. Make sure to bring your own water; dress for the weather by wearing layers; wear clothes you don’t mind getting dirty and avoid synthetic materials; sturdy, closed-toe shoes are a must.
Snacks and hot refreshments will be provided!
Masks are not required for people fully vaccinated against COVID-19. Unvaccinated volunteers must wear a mask outdoors when physical distancing is not possible. Please meet in the parking lot by the boat launch.
