Bird Walk at Kickapoo Woods
Please join Friends of the Forest Preserves and Chicago Audubon Society on one of our FREE bi-weekly birding walks at Kickapoo Woods! Experience the healing and relaxing benefits of being out in nature, while observing the birds migrating north.
We will meet at Kickapoo Woods Forest Preserve, at the parking lot by the trail leading to the boat launch. Binoculars will be provided on a first come first serve basis due to limited availability. Come see what we find!
Be sure to dress according to the weather. We plan to stay on paved trails and not go off into dirt trails. But, just in case, please wear closed-toe shoes that you don’t mind getting a little dirty. All ages and experience levels welcomed!
