Spring Creek Volunteer Workday

The Spring Creek Forest Preserve is one of only a few Cook County preserves large enough to sustain populations of rare animals, grassland birds and a rich variety of habitats. The site was deemed by Audubon-Chicago to be a globally-significant Important Bird Area.
Join the Spring Creek Stewards in removing invasive brush from our natural areas. Help to restore land for wildlife, birds, and people!
Dress to work outdoors and get dirty. Sturdy shoes, long sleeved pants and shirts. Volunteers under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.
