Help us remove woody invasive species! They deplete the health of the soil, don’t allow native plants to grow and thrive, and severely affect the health of the ecosystem they become a part of. Together, we’re working to restore health back to this special site.
A few things to keep in mind:
- Make sure to bring your own water
- Dress for the weather and wear layers
- Sturdy, closed-toe shoes are recommended
- Don’t wear clothes you would mind getting dirty
- Tools, gloves, and light snacks will be provided
We’ll meet in the parking lot by the canoe launch.
